All that way and no place to stay ? Hawaiin Villiage is great but it's not cheap, don't think they have any cheap places in Hawaii at all.

Nowhere is cheap on Oahu, but the village of Lahaina on Maui has some B and Bs, just like the New England heritage of the town. Maui beats Oahu as a place to stay anyway. Much more Hawaiian.
