i work in hillsborough,and once again have had to endure the kilted man playing bagpipes,i know he does this for charity,but boy does he give me a headache.

You should live up here mate.
Inverness town EVERY day, stands ouside Woolworths for the tourists and plays non stop.
Then you've got the guys who play them for fun!!!! All hours of the night you can here them.
Trouble is if you complain then you're branded a "FEB". (second two words are English B*****d, make your own mind up about the first)

Or walk along Edinburgh's Princes Street in the summer - you can hardly move for bagpipers droning away! :D

I may be a Scot, but I cannot BEAR the sound of bagpipes - they've always sounded to me like a cat being mutilated and give me a terrific headache :gag:

Go and ask him how much he takes in money then give him the same amount with an extra pound as an incentive and ask him to 'GO AWAY'

its not just the bagpipes that wears thin,its all the customers saying the same thing about him to me,ie"bet your fed up with that racket arnt you".

No-one forces you to live in "scotland". If you don't like it, move elsewhere.

he came into my shop today and i served him, he is english so its a bit of a cheek! i am scottish and i do like the sound on occasions but only as a one off not all day long!
