:help:

Hi, not been in Sheffield for very long, and have been given the task of orgainising the works Christmas do.

We went to Magna last year but they don't fancy it again..... looking for something a bit different, any suggestions from anyone would be gratefully accepted.

Thank you all,

we went the the hilton hotel and had a joint one ( good if your company isn't that big) good band, really nice food and there its lots of people there so if you get REALLY REALLY drunk there is less chance of doing something daft infront of your boss!!!

Would help if you could give details of numbers of people to be catered for and whether you want to hold the party in Sheffield City Centre or elsewhere...

I have been to Christmas Parties at Sheffield United's Platinum Suite, Cutlers Hall, Hilton, Marriott (Rotherham), Baldwins Omega and Hotel Bristol and all have been very good for catering on a large scale!!

You are doing to right thing by booking early as most placed get booked up very quickly!!

The Last Laugh Comedy Club will be organising a series of Christmas parties throughout December in a City Centre venue. There will be a meal, 4 great comics and a disco til 1 AM. It'll be a great change, as there is nowhere in the City that does this. Details are still being finalised, but should be together within the next fortnight.

Why not go watch the Bootleg Beatles at the sheffield arena?
Its a fantastic night out, we went last year in a big group.

Cheers for your help.

I have two do's to organise... 1 for my team about 15 people, and one for the management about 10 people.

They want something a bit different, entertainment, dancing food... all suggestions would be well appreciated.

Toby,

I've been to the Lescar a few times (bought the mad russian/canadian Lena with me last month!) and know your website (which points us somewhere else now!).
Where will you be publishing details of the christmas parties?

thanks,

Emma
