i was wondering what you do with large empty gas bottles ?? is there a redemption on them or do i just chuck it ?? err i dont think i can do that , bit dangerous . any one know

Blow it up it's more fun. :D

Alternatively you can take it to a public recycling and waste disposal site.

There is usually a deposit on each gas bottle (years ago it was something like a tenner). When you order a new gas bottle, you return the empty one, which means that you don't have to keep paying the deposit. When you have finished using the bottle altogether, you return the bottle to your local supplier, who will refund the deposit.

That's how it used to work anyway!

They only refund you if you have the original receipt :(
If you dont have it, most of them will 'take it off your hands' but no refund .......:suspect:

I've got about six and was wondering whether I'd be allowed to take them on the bus...

Will have to get arounf to phoning somebofy and getting them collected.
