Has anyone been to the new monthly gay night Moist at the new Hallam Union Building?

I went to the launch night a few months back which was a diaster because someone set the fire alarms off.

It wasn't very busy when I went which along with being on a work night kinda put me off, just wondered if it had improved at all since then?:confused:

Isn't moist at the old Centre for popular music place.. i no climax is at the union building n i thought moist was at the drum.. dunno.. either way no ive not been yet tho intend on going soon.. ave u been out to climax, excess or dempseys yet??

Hallam's first LGBT night is slowly gathering support as people are finding out about it. Not as big an event as climax, however, that's been up and running for ages.

This is Moist's first friday night event. They are running it as an 'end of exam' celecbration although i feel it might be a bit late to catch some people who are going home for the summer. All the same if you can make it down and give it your support please do.

I only just heard of Moist from this and the 'Where's the Gay Scene?' thread.

They haven't really advertised it that well. Does anyone know if it is running over the summer like Climax?

The organisers are planning to run Moist through out the summer months but they nights will probably be held on Fridays rather than Thursdays to appeal more to non students :thumbsup:
