Yesterday the Virgin bill landed on the doorstep for £80.20 for Unlimited phone pack and 20mb internet. Which as you can see is a little high as it included NO call charges.
So i rang up Virgin and asked them to downgrade my packs to the large which is 10mb internet and weekends and evening calls at a cost of £48 for the lot.
Tonight my internet dropped to 1.3mb  and opening web pages was like aggggg stupid slow like 2 mins to open a google page.

So i rang Virgin up and said i've had enough of 10mb and want to upgrade again back to the XL internet, the guy said we have a lifetime deal on. You can have XL phone and XL internet £48 per month including the £5 handling fee.

So naturally i jumped at it as the same pack less than 24hrs ago cost me over £80 :confused::confused:

How can they do that, and look at you without laughing at you at your price u was paying

So long story short - try it and save some cash

I take it they didn't just make your contract last another 12 months though? I know companies can be sneaky like that.

Been with'em 10 years and will be with them pretty much all the time. Simply because where we live is too far from ant telephone exchange to get phone line internet.

My mate around the corner is on BT and she has to remove the phone from the wall when she is on the net, if she don't the net keeps disconnecting due to weak signal.

She is on 8mb and gets around 512kb

Stuff that for a game of soldiers :hihi:
