Does this mean, winners of 3rd round ties?

The FA distributes prize money and broadcast payments to clubs for their participation in The FA Cup.

The FA’s stated objective is to use The FA Cup to redistribute funds throughout the game.

Clubs winning ties receive money from The FA's Prize Fund, while for matches on TV, live or highlights, or on the radio, The FA pays the two competing clubs in each featured tie a fee from their Broadcast Fund.

Full details of payments in each round this season are set out below.

Just goes to show, you can't use "we hosted an U-21 match" as any sign of your ground being remotely any good, can you?

Went there in the dim, dark days of Division Four (we won 5-1), and yes, it was terrible. Altrincham in the Cup the same season was probably the worst ground I've ever seen United play at though.

Unless you draw a game at Old Trafford or something similar; which'll pay a lot more than any prize money would bar actually winning the thing.

I went to Scunthorpe when United lost 1 0 in the old 4th division.I did'nt think it was to
bad,at least all four sides of the ground were covered.Remember how many
grounds back then had uncovered terraces,I remember getting soaked on a

I don't look back at those days with much nostalgia to be honest.I loved
standing up and think we should adopt the German approach when it comes to this, but watching football back then(1980's)was a bit sh***.I remember going
to Bradford when they chucked the contents of a billiard table into the Blades
fans, and I remember getting bottled and bricked at various grounds.Getting
soaked whilst standing at Oldham,Huddersfield etc still makes me shiver when I think about it.

It's a long time since I went there, but oh my, I'd struggle to think of a worse ground. Great away days they were!

Just looking at the following posts, Oxford's old ground with its 50 stands, was a sight!:hihi:

I reckon it will be a good test against Fulham, there punching above there weight in the Premier League in my opinion, although at time's they can be a dangerous little side nothing more, id have took Fulham at the start and am looking forward to the match, id rather Fulham at home than some of the tie's which have been drawn, all in all the draw has been a bit of a let down for most team's.
Not many all Premiership tie's either just 3 there's usally quite a few.

Anyways,

I'm happy with drawing Leyton Orient. Ground I've never been too and a good away draw. I'll be there.

As for the Owls, I think they have a good chance of beating Fulham, as their away form is shocking. However I believe it to be a poor draw for them - moneywise. There won't be a big crowd.
