I've searched the forum but can't really find what I'm looking for so apologies if recommendations have already been provided...

But. I'm looking for someone who can install a new alarm system for me that is compatible with my cat. I heard you can have sensors fitted to windows/doors etc rather than rooms so that she can still have free reign whilst we're out. Is it possible to get a system that has a mix of room sensors and window sensors as we would be able to shut her out of some of the rooms?

I'm looking for recommendations of companies than install such systems and what the costs are likely to be? Is regular maintenance needed as well and does the installation reduce my home insurance?

i know there are some systems where you can chop and change the sensors to cater for pets (wireless systems particularly i guess)

( I actually have one myself so the cat and dog can wander around the parts of the house we want them in when we go out.because we have the correct sensors to allow them to walk about in those areas. Believe me when the cat accidently gets in one of the rooms because we haven't shut the door properly the house alarm goes off)

As regards your Home Insurance it usually is taken into account but you will have to ask your Insurer as to whether it will alter your premium.
An annual service would be recommended.
