I have been told Boxercise classes are good, they dont seem to have classes I dont think at Fitness First or Hillsborough Leisure Centre. does anyone know where classes are.? I dont want to go to Ponds forge? too far out. if anyone can tell me where to find good classes.....

Boxercise classes at Hillsborough Leisure Centre:

Monday nights 8.30pm to 9.30pm.

Box fit for kids: Saturday 12.30pm - 2pm
Box fit for adults: Saturday 2.00pm - 3.30pm.

Also - Yoga Boxing! Wednesday's at 1.15pm - 2.00pm.

Oh. thats good. I went on the www.fit-u.com. classes for HLC. didnt think they had Boxercise, how do you find out what classes they have then, do you know who takes it, want to try it out but a Beginner!!!!!!

Beginners are welcome! the instructors will start you off wherever you feel comfortable. The staff are great! and will give you any other advice you need. Just give them a ring on the number in my last post.:thumbsup:

It's just recently been extended and has a huge cardiovascular side and a large resistance area - as well as a brand new free weights area. Hillsborough Leisure Centre won the 'Star' readers Gym of the year award last year!

is the gym 'hillsborough Leisure centre' better than Fitness First.?? im now a member at hillsbrough and like you i looked around at other gyms etc, fitness first seemed ok but i think you get more for your money at hillsbrough, plus theres the chance of not only using hillsbrough, if you get a unlimited membership you can also use concord/pondsforge, if you have kids their passes cost £9.99 a month swin all day everyday. plus kids get 2 free classes........:thumbsup:

When is the website going to get up and running? have they got sunbeds at hillsborough leisure c., ? is the www.fit-un.com

Children now get as many classes as they want to come to !! not just 2 anymore.

As for the website go to: www.sivltd.co.uk and click Hillsborough.

Whoops! the HLC bit isn't running just yet:blush: . . but the best thing to do is actually go down to HLC and the staff there will give you a full guided tour of the facilities and explain all about the membership or classes or swimming pools etc to you.
