View Full Version : Advice on how to break wind effectively on the back garden
We have recently purchased some gnomes for the back garden, the problem is we want to place them on the wall, however we don’t want them to fall off and smash, when the wind is blowing a gale
Are there any products on the market that you can place in a back garden that reduces the strength of the wind.
I think you all got the wrong end of the stick.
Is there a product that effectively reduces the strength on the wind, so garden ornaments are not damaged?

Mother Nature in all her fury is not easily beat. I can only suggest that if they forecast strong winds, put the gnomes on the floor so they've nowhere to fall.
Otherwise your only option is a physical barrier such as a fence, and that would rely on it being in the right direction relative to the wind direction so I think moving the Gnomes to safety is the most practical and cheapest option.

jane2008 25-11-2008, 22:29 I know this might sound a bit thick but can't you decide where you want to place them permanantly and then stick them down with something?

You could grow soft fruit bushes over the wall although, if the wind get strong, it may blow raspberries in your garden.
Harleyman 26-11-2008, 01:45 I think there's a product called Wind Begone with a factory in Nome Alaska.
Look it up on the net
Hi Beebop, sorry I don't have any idea about that, but I hope you have a beautiful garden and a sweet home.
