My dog is nearly 8 years old and we just don't know why he has started to 'poo' in the hallway. He goes out 3 times a day once at 8, 3 and 8 o clock, then he is also let out on the front before we go to bed. This sequence has been fine for years and ever since Friday he has gone to the toilet at least 5 times in our hallway.
Does anybody know what may be wrong with him??
Thanks in advance.
1 x cork should stop it!!!!!
Have u changed anything recently- like his diet?
Had a black Lab once that when he got to about 14 he started to do this little trick. i just put it down to old age in him at the time, only thing i could do was to contain to proplem, as mutch as possible leave a door open when your in so he can get out, or if like my dog its allways in the same possition, lay something on the floor there when you go out. this trick came and went. its not ideal i know.

Your dog might just been unwell, he may have picked up some kind of tummy bug or he could be due for a worming tablet. We are lucky with our dog, when he wants the loo he goes and sits by the door and looks at us with those eyes saying take me out please! Look out for the signs if he's moving about alot and very restless he may need the loo. Its a shame they cant take innit!

OOPS!! :gag:
I give my dog a quick spray with water when its naughty. It usually learns not to do whatever it did again....

We had a dog when I was just a baby, my parents would take him out and he wouldn't go the whole time they were out (sometiems they'd be out for hours) and as soon as they got back in, woopsy!
Unfortunately I was just a toddler and crawling about and my sister was on the way so because of money and my safety, they had to let him go to someone else. Don't know where he is now...
ive 3 dogs and if they are a bit ill, I TAKE THEM TO A VET! better to be safe than sorry,.
