I bought one of those flashing blue and red LEDs today, perfect for attaching to a dog (or cat's) collar.

They're only £2.49 at Sainsbury's, which I thought was a bargain and wanted to share. You can see them from really far away, too.

Perfect for those ever darkening evenings.

We bought one last year for our dog, and it's great when we go for a walk on the beach in the evenings when we are at our caravan. We've had lots of comments about it. I might get another one to use at home in the winter evenings, as unfortunately we left it at the caravan when we closed it down for the winter. Doh!

I just clip a bike light onto my dogs collar, much more effective than an LED.

we put the flashing dog tag on the back of Brude's harness - if it's on his collar, it's under his chin, and with a breed which walks nose to the floor it's useless there!

They are useful, though, but since searching, I've found all kind of nifty gizmos for keeping sight of your pet in the dark.

we also have a snugglesafe hi-vis harness - which might make the houndlet look like a shirehorse, but at least we can see him in the dark - as can any traffic

Which one Helly Meadowhell or on The Moor ?

Well I originally saw them in Doncaster opposite the fish market but it's the same chain as The one in Meadowhall (poundworld) not sure about the Moor, never been there.

all my dogs and cats have them apart from baby Tawny who finds hers too heavy yet!!!
