I fancy getting a bigger lizard at some point but no space for them right now. Quite fancy a couple of Dwarf Sungazers - prehistoric look to them that I really like.
Make sure we get lots of nice piccies to coo over wont you?
puddinburner 25-11-2008, 08:34 Awwwwww...so cute in they're own sort of way:hihi: I'm just waiting for the two remaining tropical fish to die off, so we can use that tank for some of these...without the water of course!!!
Haven't got the heart to "bog fish" so guess it will be another few years, unless anyone can give a good home to....a big Plec and a bandit cat?
jediwarrior 25-11-2008, 10:00 i have a 3ft viv comin but would rather have a 4ft viv if any one selling one cheap
If it was up to you Dafoot your house would resemble a zoo :P
geckoqueen 25-11-2008, 18:35 Hello,
Welcome to the reptile club! There was a bit on BBC Breakfast this morning about how more people are getting reptiles that more traditional pets now and how BDs have personalities similar to dogs (in that they love human attention).
You should be fine with a 3ft viv for a baby but as it grows or you get more (and you will!) you'll probably want 4-5feet. Mine currently enjoy 6.5 feet.
jediwarrior 25-11-2008, 18:38 1 will be enough lol i think it will be a re beardie cos his mom is red and dad is standered colour

Oh but you'll miss out on all the social interactions.... I love watching mine, there's a really interesting group dynamic.

nah pellets are a waste of money
when small they eat part veg, but when adults most food is veg.. you put calcium and vit powder on the food.
I had someone for 1 baby from Derbyshire, but there struggling now so if they dont want it by next week its available. Eating like a trooper!
If it was up to you Dafoot your house would resemble a zoo :P
Well it would save a fortune on trips to Chester :D
jediwarrior 29-11-2008, 11:22 Our dragon has arrived and is settling in ok. He is hiding at the min under some logs lol
jediwarrior 02-12-2008, 16:38 Drago has settled in and is loving it here. We have found he loves crickets and loves chasing them. He is trying to eat meal worms at the min which is funny. Debz thinks that he is creepy as he sits watching her all day lol.
cooljules 02-12-2008, 16:58 thats good, hope it takes to the mealies, got 1 left if anyone is interested, 6 and a half weeks old little baby! runs around catching food like a trooper!
