...why is it when your clothes shopping the changing room attendant only allows you a certain mubers of items to take in with you?

I was thinking about this because I think if it's to save time and free up changing rooms at busy times - this doesn't work because then if you switch out an item you've tried on for the one you left on the rail - then this is taking the same amount of time as if you took all items in at once!

Also, if it's to prevent shoplifting, then if your determined to steal what does it matter if there 3/4/5 items? And aren't most clothes tagged now anyway?

I find it so irritating when I've got say 6 itmes and the attendant takes great pleasure in announcing that I can only take in 3 of them and which ones would I like to leave behind - oh the decisions! :rolleyes:

It just seems a pointless exercise...maybe I should ask why but i'm sure I'd get a rules-is-rules response.
