If I like main stream music, some hardhouse and clubbing music, I like busy but not so busy that you can not get served at the bar

Chances are that somewhere not in beighton will be your best bet.

But being something of an old fogey, I can't recommend anywhere better than the Sheaf View for proper beer and no music, and the Cafe #9 for proper music and no alcohol served.

Sure the young 'uns on here will have plenty of suggestions. Failing that come to a meet at the Devonshire Cat in town on a Sunday Night (I hear they are very good)
