Hiya,
I've asked for a couple of clubs myself, and the general idea ith the clubs is that the messages are being filed and we'll be acting on them when the technical 'gubbins' is in place to deal with them.
Please let us know your ideas; we will be back to you when we're 'ready to roll'.
Joe
thankyou Joe :)
well if stuff and things are still being finalised least it gives me chance to actually sort content out properly and stuff, as i just recklessly jumped in with both feet and held my breath and emailed. :hihi: :hihi:

miniminch 30-05-2005, 17:27 i've ask to start an anti-social club for people who don't like being with other people. (a bit like 'Hicks' People who hate people party) The rules are that we definately never meet each other or comunicate in any way shape or form. I assume it's been accepted although in the spirit of the club no ones bothered to tell me.
Thanks to all those already taking part - I hope i never meet you - ever.

I had to smile at this comment. I was chatting in the chat room the other night to a forummer. Basically, one of our customers at work is wanting some business done with another forummer. The contact for this, by the way, has all been set up thanks to the Forum.
Anyway, our customers name just happened to be Geoff. When I mentioned to the other forummer that "Geoff was in the office today" the room suddenley went deadly quiet - a bit like walking into the old tap room at the Magnet........ I could almost feel the glares .......... then someone whispered "Geoff.... was in your office ..... today?". I pointed out it was another Geoff. You could feel the cloud ascend and suddenley the yabbering all started again.

:D I might be persuaded:blush: where and when?
rubydazzler 30-05-2005, 19:33 Keep an eye on the Notices and Events threads ...
Sundays in the Devonshire Cat from 8pm, drinking and chatting.
Alternate Wednesdays at either Trippet's Bar (games of choice, wine, lager, soft drinks, coffee and great sounds from EManGrooving and Snap)
...or somewhere insane of evildrneil's devising .... where anything might happen ... he pretends they're civilised meets but he'll say anything to get people to come along and then he terrifies them with (hushed whisper, looks over shoulder)The Bear ..... *shudder*
all sorts of Forummers attend ... :D
Classic Rock 30-05-2005, 20:53 I asked for a local live music/rock appreciation club. Not heard 'owt back yet though.
Skatiechik 27-06-2005, 14:14 Whats the news on this? Or is it not being implemented now?
Hi,
Still on the cards but we're a little 'snowed under' right now.
I'll see if I can get a better idea of implementation plans.
Cheers,
Joe

SteveWilson 27-06-2005, 21:32 If there are clubs being formed, hows about a "no strings just sex club"
Would work wonders!:heyhey:

Somehow I think the 'family friendly' clause might come in to play here. :)
SteveWilson 28-06-2005, 14:54 Only have it open to 18 y.o plus members.
Lets get crackin with the nackin ;)
There are quite a few sites, I am told, that offer the services that you seek Steve!
I think it's likely that SF will remain without a red light district.
:)
So are there any forum clubs? Have I missed something?
Don_Kiddick 29-08-2005, 08:42 I asked about a 999 club for emergency services/ healthcare personnel.
Seemed a good idea at the time :D
