I think it's a law windscreens HAVE to get fixed for free, you pay for it yourself up front, then the bill gets submitted to your insurance and they'l sent you a check for the full amount you paid.

It also doesn't affect your no claims bonus and doesn't require listing in the "have you made any claims" section on your next application, I believe.

Handy being able to pop in and have it done though, sorry I missed this.

Also it's amazing to watch how they do it, when we had to get ours done they came to the house, did it right in the driveway took the whole window out and popped the new one in in no time, just can't go through a car wash for 24 hours thats all.

I think AutoGlass offer the same service at all times.
