UnkleBob 30-05-2005, 05:31 i've just woke up, full of hayfever and a touch hungover, and in an hour or so i'll be loading my little car up with far too much fishing tackle to go catch some fish, sun and more hayfever!
Hayfever-What a cruel trick to play on someone who loves the great outdoors that was!

alchresearch 30-05-2005, 10:51 It's a gorgeous sunny day here, I was planning a trip to Southport. But, I spent all day in the garden yesterday and got a really bad sunburnt back for my troubles and now feel really rough. So I'm going to stay in and watch Superman 3 followed by Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves!
I've also got some revising to do for a Systems Analysis exam at uni tomorrow night.
I would've gone to Mayfest, seeing as it's only at Hillsborough.. But they want me to pay £5 to get in plus probably 2 quid a pop for a go on the Dodgems in the Fair, sod that, what do they think I am?! Rich?! :loopy:
It's 8am here, Memorial day in the States, weekend off.
Not doing the usual Memorial day cook out as my familys gone off to Maryland for a few days, going to see the town parade later on, then we plan to do some stuff up in the attic, long time comming for a clean up up there.
Weather great here today, nice and sunny and dry.
Went to see House of Wax at the UGC then went to Tesco to spend my clubcard vouchers
Watching Superman 3 now
well i took my baba to nursery, went to B&Q for supplies, stripped wallpaper in bathroom then tackled my huge privet which have managed to cut most of it down but still need a chainsaw for the rest!! picked baba up and watching superman 3 and relaxing before i go try pick all tiny bits of paper off bathroom floor!!!!!
Recovering from going out dancin last night and enjoying the back yard sunshine....
Internetowl 30-05-2005, 15:02 Just got back from work - tea-time some bank holiday eh?
Kristian 30-05-2005, 15:07 I've just sat all day nursing a hangover! I think I need a hair of the dog! (or as one of my fave forummers said to me in a PM earlier, 'Maybe the full fur coat'!) :D
rubydazzler 30-05-2005, 15:36 had to get up early and go to let roofers into premises to strip the roof ... then I was collected and taken out for breakfast ...
Unfortunately, not a long leisurely breakfast reading the papers over pancakes and petit pain as envisaged - several toddlers wandering around constantly uttering those peculiarly irritating high pitched squeals ... so we hastily ate up, swallowed our coffee down and went for a wander in the sunshine in the Botanical Gardens ...
an icecream cone with flake and strawberry sauce from the van at the entrance ... yummmmy! followed by a surreal experience when a man burst through conifer hedging from a private garden carrying a cage with several ducklings in it ... followed by an agitated duck ...
Got back to find that someone had put a boot through the ceiling and half the stock was covered in that horrid fine black dust .... I feel a SALE coming on
am now sitting here surrounded by papers trying to concentrate on my VAT return ... wonderful end to a Bank Holiday Monday ... :D
Hope the rest of us managed to have a good time ... Mayfest or otherwise lol

what did I do today well from 02:00am I stayed up until I felt sleepy then went to bed waste of time I had only four hours sleep. just to keep me busy I went shopping this morning and then came back to fix my shelving as it had collapsed mind you I am not surprised what with all the cd's I have got on it there must be over a 1.000 of them all rock music and different rock groups. then I fixed my mates pc for him he had got a disc stuck in the dvd drawer.came home and did some studying on photography and the rest of this afternoon I spent playing a video game called the suffering it is about some person breaking out of prison that is full of demons for company there is a hell of a lot of blood in it, and people with there heads chopped of and some of them are strung up with parts of there body missing. just the run of the mill monday for me.
