hello all

latley my pc has been acting very slow at starting up and sometimes on loading apps and opening 'my computer' and such and my hd light is always on like its struggling to run normal.

but now when i play a game i.e cod5 or need for speed undercover my machine runs very slowwwww and causes the games to stutter or sometimes they even crash on loading or during game play even on them free demo 'reflexive arcard' type of games they no long run or wont play at full screen

and when i play a song through 'winamp' or others and select full screen for the visulisations the pc sometimes turns off or the full screen cuts out and goes back to small screen straight away

this is my pc spec if you need it

windows xp
AMD ATHLON 64fx x2 dual-core 3500+ @ x2 2.11ghz
kingston 2gb 667mhz ram
ATI radeon HD2600XT 512mb pci-express gfx card with 'ICE-Q' cooling
400gb hd
22" ACER P223W 'crystalbright' lcd monitor

ps i have run my fully legal anti-virus also=makes no change!

Then install latest ATI drivers 8.11 = http://downloads.guru3d.com/ATI-Catalyst-8.11-WHQL-XP-32-bit-download-2118.html

Then see if it works
