I've got an exam on tuesday and i'm allowed to take in a statute book. The problem is the uni bookshop ran out of it 2 weeks before the exam and i've not been able to get my hands on it.
Long shot i know, but are there any bookshops open 2day which might have a 'Statutes on Contract, Tort and Restitution' book?
or (even more of a long shot) does anyone here have 1 i could borrow/buy????
Thanks!
They've got it on Amazon (http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/0199273014/qid=1117370776/sr=2-1/ref=sr_2_11_1/202-9650226-6759028) but the delivery's 3-5 weeks on it :(
Alternatively you could try Waterstones in Meadowhall as they'll no doubt be open.
Have you tried phoning round all the bookshops in town? And whichever Uni you're at, try the other Uni's shops. The majority of shops, if they're open, will close at 16:00 though.
Have you got access to a conference forum at your University? If you're at Sheffield Hallam, you definitely have. Try a heartfelt appeal on there. Someone who might have took your exam previously may have the book just laying around.
Good luck, had my first year contract law exam the other day and fun it wasn't :)
