The wonderful person who helps me maintain some order in my house (and I need her because I can't do it all myself due to disability) is currently in hospital so I'm looking for temporary help in the first instance.

I was wondering whether anyone had used any of the agencies that advertise in yellow pages and, if so, whether they could recommend one or, conversely, tell me which ones I should steer clear of.
