View Full Version : Songs which go straight to the lyrics
Which songs go straight to the lyrics? The first thing you hear is the singer's voice singing the lyrics before any music kicks in.
After five minutes' worth of pondering, I've come up with:
- Basketcase - Green Day ('Do you have the time to listen to me whine about nothing and everything all at once?').
- Take a Chance On Me - Abba ('If you change your mind I'm the first in line').
- I Hope You're Happy Now - Elvis Costello - ('He's a fine figure of a man and handsome too, with his eyes upon the secret places he'd like to undo').
