What absolute rubbish !
I've been dating Elton John and John Prescott for years now and have always had my fair share of viagra.
I must admit , my eyesight is not 100% but I more than make up for it with enthusiasm .

I suppose you poke yourself in the eye!

To be serious though blindness most definately is never, never funny.

As for viagra did you hear about that poor man who took an overdose and came to a sticky end.:hihi: Or what about those theives who stole a van load of it and the police were looking for a bunch of hardened criminals. Still, in the end they got a stiff sentence. :hihi:

There was a story some years ago about a Nigerian president who died suddenly. A rumour began to circulate that he had overdosed on viagra - and that it took two weeks before they could close the coffin lid.

Seriously though, I think this story is yet another health scare story, alarmist in its effects if not in its intentions.

Apparently, over 20 million people have taken this drug and of these only 38 have gone blind. It has not in any case been proven that there is a link with the drug because most users have pre-existing medical conditions anyway.

So Boppinbruce, I think you are probably safe to carry on with the horizontal boppin, or whatever you prefer to call it.

It's a bit like immodium causing severe diarrohea. Any tested drug MIGHT cause side effects. All side effects are reported and logged during testing. The people (guinnea pigs) who test these drugs have to report all side effects, and these side effects have to be included on the paper bumph that is supplied with the drug on being released to the general public.
At the end of the day........any form of "drug" is a sort of invasion to the body. It is up to the indvidual to read all the medical information supplied and then make an informed decision as to whether or not it is in their best interests to take the medication.
I personally think that the latest press release regarding viagra is just to cover the backs of the company that makes it. I wouldn't go so far as to say it is scare-mongering, but it is making the point that there are allways going to be risks. Somebody or two have gone blind and are blaming viagra for it....I feel a stoopid giggle rising up in my throat here but I will refrain from enlarging on it............rofl! Behave.........!!!!!
If it suits and you make the informed decision....then go for it and don't be too worried.
