Species of animal to be rehomed - degu male x 3
Rehome or Sale? rehome
Reason for Rehome / Sale change in family circumstancess - should have identified further - both my lads have asthma - this hasn't bothered them for some time but the last 3 mths, its really been out of control, they have had a fair time off school. steroids etc, the doctor has said that she suspects all the peat dust, shavings dust and the hay, particularly the quantity of it at our house is getting too much for their chests too handle so we now really have to find all our small pets new homes - we have contacted bawtry but they are full

Has the Pet been in Rescue Previously? no
Can the animal be picked up and put into a basket without the risk of scratching or biting? possibly - they are tame but wary of strangers - they tend to like being handled on their terms

Can the animal be groomed/handled without biting or scratching? yes - once they are confident with you
Live in / out in - will provide cage dimensions approx 3ft wide, 3 ft high and 2 ft wide- comes with stand

Any Current or Historical Health or Psychological Issues none to date but degus are prone to diabeties so no sugar

these are great guys - great to get out and let them run round really lovely boys so deserve a good loving home, sadly changes in our family circumstances means we cannot give them the time they deserve as my children can no longer handle them
