I put some sturon onion sets in this summer but they have not reall grown that big. so some small ones I have pickled the others I have left them in the raised beds where I grew them. How long can I leave them in if I cover them from frost?:help:

I'd get them out now.They'll not grow any more this year and as soon as growth starts next year they'll run to seed and be useless. Summer is a bit late to have put them in,late March/early April is best.
