A few years ago I bought my daughter a play station (the first one) and after years of abuse I gave in and got her a ps2.

The grey one had memory cards so she could save games at bed time and then start them again later.

Do the new ones have these?

Where can I get them from?

yes it does have them... you can still use the old ones... infact you will need the old ones if she's playing playstation 1 games...

for playstation 2 games she'll need one of the newer ones... these can be bought from pretty much anywhere...

most game sites sell them... www.play.com or www.amazon.co.uk ... also shops like curry's, comets, dixons, hmv, virgin...

they're about £15/20 a shot from shops, online you can get cheaper ones :)

Do i have to buy 2 of them like the old playstation had? (the one that she threw in the bin with the cards in it!)

Playstation 2 games will happily run with one memory card
