Could anyone tell me a company that will insurer me for my contents.
I live in an apartment, but share it with the landlord who owns the property.
When I mention this, insurance companies dont like it and will not insure me for some reason.
Anybody got any advice.

I can't imagine why they would have a problem with insuring you
I have my contents insurance through Endsleigh, have you tried them? :)
Hi,
have you thought about asking your landlord to include your possessions on his policy? I let a room out to student in my house and I do this for my tenant, it hasn't cost me any extra at all, and shouldn't in your case except if you have any particularly valuable items.
Good luck

Try Homelet http://homeletuk.com/cgi-bin/frontEnd.cgi?agentSchemeNumber=1403796
They specialise in tenants insurance.
