does anyone know where id go or what i do to learn accents, for acting or other purposes?

i think you need to get a voice coach. a lot of the big actors talk about their voice coaches helping them with accents. look in yelowpages for acting places and give them a ring:thumbsup:

It might be a bit of a long shot but in my experience the best way to pick up an accent is to talk to someone who has the one you want.

I've been in the UK 8 months and work as a receptionist, so needless to say it's not taken me long to pick up a slight English accent from talking to people on the phone all day.

Then last weekend I met up with some other Aussies and within a day had lost my English accent completely just from talking to them.

Accents really are quite interchangeable, so my advice is where possible surround yourself with one or two ppl who speak it naturally and you'll have it in no time (or at the very least be able to mimick it quite convincingly) :)
