OH went and got it at dinner time today and it hasn`t been off.
They love it!!

i have it on the pc yes it is a cracking game but sadly its nowhere near as good as call of duty 4

Don't mention the Cod War. i emntioned it once but I think i got away with it.

meh, World at War was alright but if I was you I'd get CoD 1+2, better than all the rest imo.

Much more difficult that 1,2, 3 & 4 but it's excellent. Yeah, I'd say it's worth 40 quid.

In the other COD's, there wern't German Zombies ;)

It seems to be a lot cheaper for PC than it is for consoles, same goes for most multi-platform games. I got it for PC and played it through a couple of times, it's not as long as the other COD games, the story is a bit all over the place and the WW2 theme is wearing thin by this point, but the more gritty and adult direction the game takes breathes new life into it, as does focussing on the Japanese side of the war.

If you're not expecting the foul language and graphic violence that wasn't present in the previous COD games then it takes you by surprise slightly, you'll see a lot of people with limbs flying off, and hear a lot of "bugger this" and "you silly son of a biscuit" that, and "big hairy bums to the lot of you sods" throughout. Well, maybe not exactly like that, but you get the idea.

i have several friends who now _only_ play Zombies on W@W. With friends over XBL, Zombies is superdooper.

What-with Zombies on W@W and Horde on GoW, i reckon we'll soon see some new stand-alone games of the ilk. (A new FPS "survival" genre?)

Left4Dead is a four player zombie slaughterfest. Carnage of the highest order :)

4 players trying to fight their way through hordes of zombies, healing each other, looking after one another and freeing one another from zombie traps.

Left 4 Dead rules, I play that a lot. It has the teamwork element down to a T which a lot of co-op games don't manage.

F.E.A.R. 2 is excellent!
