I saw them at the Arena a while back and they were boring. I'm glad to hear they can still deliver a decent performance when they want to.

Damn, I didn't hear about that. I would have liked to have gone had I known they were playing. :(

i always get up and dance when bob plays 'em in the casbah! they are one of the best bands to do air guitar to and that 'pull your fist to your heart' move too, esp 'pour some sugar on me'.

"Animal" does it for me, one of their finest songs.

Nice to meet a fellow air guitar player tina! How much flak to we "frustrated musicians" get for that?!?

It's a good summer tune IMO.

Aoowww! Cry wolf, baby cry tough, gonna hunt you like a uh uh animal...

Sheffields best export since silver plate (me thinks, unbiasedly)

Very sad what happened to Steve Clarke, he was my fave leppard...

Has anyone seen the film about Def Leppard called "Hysteria"? It's fairly cheesy but it's OK. I think you have to like Def Leppard quite a lot to be bothered about watching a film about them though. I was very amused to see Merlin from Casualty playing Joe Elliot! I'm not sure how much (if any) of the film was shot in Sheffield, but I kept looking out for bits I might have recognised. There wasn't any bits that looked familar to me though.

That film the Full Monty was partly shot on my street; the external scenes of the WMC.

Yes, they just walk down the road, turn the corner, and err...they're in the other side of town.

I never did find that quantum-acclerator-time-warp-machine thingy they used...

and Rick Allen, this band have had so much tragedy, and they still keep going.

Once saw a documentary on MTV when they did the "in the round tour".

They had groupy types under the stage and when they took a break, one of them would go underneath and have b**w j*B or similar.

Rock and Roll!

I saw them at the Arena in the 90's. It was the first time they had performed in Sheffield for many years. It was a very impressive performance.
