If you ask properly without capitalising every single word I'll answer.

OK, either literate but brain-achingly capitalised or non-capitalised & brain-achingly illiterate... :loopy:

Consider this revenge, reply in l33t.

Well you've at least drop the caps, & learnt one new word today. Take a lesson from this, it's bloody annoying when someone types something that you can barely read, especially when you're asking for help & they're trying to work out what you mean.

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt that English isn't your first language. If it is then hell, we'll always need pots washed...

Just hold down the power button for 5 or 6 seconds, wait a couple, then hit the power button again. If that doesn't work take the battery out, wait a few, then replace it & turn back on.

I'm sorry that I can't help you with your problem, but can you try to post in English please? Textspeak is against forum rules.

Definitely, I had to use a translator (http://ioyu.com/io/javascript/l33t.asp) :hihi: .

Good for making a point in this instance though, was tempted to reply in binary, octal or hex but you've at least got a chance of reading it if you're drunk enough with l33t, if you can't focus properly it's actually easier. :D

And the idiocy couldn't be because of too much pot, if that was the case I'd be sitting on the floor trying to hammer circular pegs into square holes like a 2 year old.

sounds like its either your charger or charging circuit (unlikely to be battery as laptop should boot without it)

try taking battery out and boot

Sounds to me like the battery has just discharged due to the charger not working. I've known a few chargers go, but never the charging circuit in the laptop. When you say the charger is brand new, is it because it's a replacement? If so, it may not be correct one for your laptop, or it could just be a faulty one.

never known the charging circuit to go???! :O

as i say if the batery was at fault latop would boot anyway just not charge

BluePolo

If the charger itself is at fault, the battery will not charge, and the charger will not power the laptop. It will be cheaper to get the charger replaced under guarantee if it is new (or indeed to buy a new one if it's outside the guarantee period) than it may be to have the laptop checked out. I've known sockets to come loose in the laptop, and I've heard of pins breaking. If the socket was loose, it usually manifests itself intermittently before totally going off.
