What a freaky question.

If anyone invented any kind of tool to do such a thing it'd have to go down as one of the most useless things ever bought out.

After Windows ME that is.

You would need an IDE ribbon puller.... just kiddin no such thing as far as i know.
Only thing i have ever used is patience and my fingers

Yes, lit up like fireworks, now have no hair and the remnants of smoke linger. I have used my hands for years but the exam specifically required a name of a tool. Thanks for your reply :-)

the exam specifically required a name of a tool. Trick question I think :-)

... Or maybe they expect you to lever it out with an extremely small precision microw-crowbar, who knows!

Tools required:

Screwdriver (Phillips or + tip)
Anti-static wrist strap (precautionary)

I can only imagine that the answer they are after is "an anti-static wrist strap", 'cos then you'd just pull it out.
