At the news of girlfriend Penny Lancaster expecting their baby.
His 7th child.
And reports of his children -one alcoholic -one alcoholic and drug addict.
one signed up to record label at 13 after parents rod, and kelly Emberg sent demo tapes of her singing.(not what you know its who you know)
Then at the bottom of the page-Sarah Thubron.
His secret daughter he never sees.
Sarah was born following a year long romance with art student Susannah Boffey.
Shes now 41 and married a tesco delivery man last year.
Rod Stewart said of his first born "You can count her if you want, I try not to.

What an awfull thing to say.
Being rich and famous has really gone to the head of this obnoxious little man.
and what struck me was, this secret daughter was the image of him .
She looked more like him than any of the others.
But alas if youre mother isn't rich or famous what can you do.

I think if Rod Stewart were MY dad I'd want to keep it quiet.

He and Peter Stringfellow are so similar and they both make my skin creep. Talk about mutton dressed as lamb! :rolleyes:

I agree with you but he's not little.
That's an urban myth, he's almost 6' tall.
Probably due to the V.long lens photography over the years with it's distorted perspective which has led people to the misapprehension that he's small.

But you'd have plenty of brothers and sisters. Imagine the lark you could all have at karaoke taking the **** out of 'Do Ya Think I'm Sexy?' knowing that whilst all the drunken crowd are having a good old laugh at your routine, the last laugh would be on you as Papa Rod walks in (in tiger-patterned leggings) and shouts 'Oi, you wanna lift home in the Rolls?'

You can't put Rod in the same boat as Stringfellow, he's a classic artist with a great voice and some quality tunes.

It does put me off however to hear of his attitude to his kids.:(

I was going on the looks and appearance. Rod has come up with some great tunes over his career span. Peter hasn't. Both seem to have a prediliction for young blondes though.

I remember this secret daughter turned up briefly in the news in the early 80s, I think. Rod was married to Alanna Hamilton at the time, and apparently met this daughter with her in attendance. It came across in the article about it - to me at least - that all Rod and wifie were concerned about was that this girl didn't make any claim on Rod's estate, that she wouldn't take anything away from THEIR kids.

It stuck in my mind because I thought it was such a horrible way for a father to treat his daughter - I felt so sorry for her. As I recall, all he offered her was a full set of his musical back-catalogue!!! :rolleyes: What a charmer :loopy: It came over that his only concern was that she'd take money from him - there was no interest in or care for this long-lost child.

Awful man. ok, great voice and all that, but what a sorry excuse for a human being.

She's obviously had a tough life then... not only is Rod Stewart her dad, but she looks like him as well. Bit of a double whammy really.
