I have heard of this game, in the news for a while now but never saw it. Until last night I got a Sheffield Star and found it on page 23. So I thought i'd have a go.

Rules:
There is just one rule

1) Each row and each column should contain the numbers 1 - 9
2) Each 3 x 3 box should contain the numbers 1 - 9

Now I'm sorry sheffield star but in my belief that is two rules.
Anyway I enjoyed the game and completed it in around 45 minutes. And will probably do it tonight too..

I have become addicted to Sudoku in the last couple of weeks. In the Independent there are 4 different games each day... 2 easy, 1 medium and 1 hard. Apparently on Saturday's they do a big 16x16 version, but I haven't attempted that one yet!

They have an easy and a hard one in The Sun too

Nice handy Sudoku solver here if you're ever stuck with one - it's amazing how fast it solves the puzzle, and mesmerises me when its trying the combinations

On my recent trip to Barcelona, I bought a Sudoku book, which has kept me occupied very greatly, although I am having a little trouble with some of the ( Hard ) ones. I feel there is something that I haven't yet worked out.
