I did, i was passing a lay by just before 11am so pulled the van over and observed the 2 mins before moving back off.

well as with sunday me and my old gran missed it due to not seeing the time so we had our own 2 mins . She was telling me stories about her dad in the war and how my grandads dad was one of the fallen . :(

As I watched those three brave old men at the cenotaph, I thought how wonderful it would be if, before they died of old age, they could experience just one day on earth where nobody died through warfare.

Cant see it happening in my lifetime though. Not even if i live to be 100.
