Fairly tempting - a band i'd have liked to have seen live in their heyday... wonder if it would feel the same??

(and how many millions of pounds the city hall are charging) :suspect:

city hall will be told what the ticket prices for the gig are by the agent/management of the band.... the whole tour will be priced the same by mgmt.

Would have preferred the Dennis Leigh (John Foxx) version of Ultravox!

I still remember seeing Midge Ure in Thin Lizzy - it was a bit of a shock to see him again in his Vienna-era incarnation.

Presumably he's since received a bank statement. :P

Last time Ure played South Yorkshire the venue was a dodgy pub called The Leopard in Donny; I'm sure the reformation is purely for musical reasons.

I want to go to this. I love Ultravox. Dancing With Tears in My Eyes is the saddest music videos ever! I never realised what the song was about till I saw it.

I'd pay good money to see a Foxx-led Ultravox, but the chart-friendly Ure incarnation? This means nothing to me.

Im sure that the crude thought of coin never passed his mind... an artist would NEVER think of money! They do it for love! Really they do!

Honest!

Got my tickets this afternoon, £32.50 plus booking fee. they go on general sale wednesday morning, but you can get them early if you check out the official Ultravox site for details. Can't wait until april, saw them in '81 and '82, better live than on record.

I saw Midge Ure perform Vienna with acoustic guitar this summer. Was pretty bloody good actually.

I saw Midge on the "Here and Now" Tour at the Arena in '05 (?). Performed a few of the Ultravox hits, including Vienna.
However, looking forward to seeing the classic line up at the City Hall.
