Meet Rigsby, he has been with us scince July 2006. His only fault is that he isnt good with other dogs and being in kennels is not helping him. He has a fabulous nature and needs a second chance, he is constantly overlooked.:(

Rigsby is 9 years old and deserves a warm home to call his own. If you can help Rigsby please PM me or contact Sheffied Dog Rescue on 0114 2550469

Oh bless him, he looks adorable. I so wish I could help, but I'm not allowed dogs in my rented house.

Good luck Rigsby, keep us updated!

Would it be worth paying for a behaviourist to take him and do some work with him?

We have had some fantastic results with a guy that we work with - and he is just working on a dog agressive rottie - and she is now in with others and fine.

Maybe do a massive appeal in the star for him? With support and backup from a behav who is good with agressive dogs?

Poor lad -
If they want to start taking picks and write ups of any of your dogs, you can send them to us to put on the site, and we will just put whatever contact number you want on there.

We adopted a 9 year old and had a fantastic 4 or so years with her.....we spoilt her rotten thinking she may not be around for as long as she was!! Age really shouldn't put people off, and no I'm afraid I can't have him as we have one already, and a bunny and two guinea pigs! Would love to though.
