I should have posted about this before we went... anyway...
Code13, serenachic and I went to the 1950's B-movies night (http://www.jayandtiki.com/) at Cineworld last week, and it was brilliant. They're doing another one in December (date to be announced), and it's highly recommended. A pretty lady gives you sweeties!

Indeed they are. The idea was thought up by one of the guys at the site who has quite a collection of old B-Movies. I believe he plans to do the double bill of The Blob and Day The Earth Stood Still for the next one (to tie in nicely with the remake of DTESS).

Latest word is that the guys are looking at early December for the next double bill (11th December is being touted at present). Will keep you informed.

Details are up for the next B-Movie night - as mentioned it is Day The Earth Stood Still (to coincide with the new version released) and The Blob. A fantastic double bill by any standards. Date of event is Wednesday 10th December, and the time is 7pm.
