DRUNKEN youths put their lives at risk when they scaled a crane on a Sheffield building site after stoning the security guard to get past him.
The guard, who works on the Barnsley Road site at Sheffield Lane Top, feared for his safety and had to shield himself in his office.
Police revealed details of the incident as police in North Sheffield target rowdy behaviour with new regular patrols aimed at identifying underage drinkers and those who either sell them alcohol or buy it on their behalf.

They want HOISTING before the courts.
They would more than likely get off the HOOK though.

I was in this area yesterday at about 5.45pm and I was approached by a girl aged 15ish with a group of friends and asked if I would go to the local shop for them and get 2 cans of special brew for them. I said no and informed the shop owner but i certainly haven't seen any Police patrols about,

Whats the point of having a security guard if he hides in his cabin when someone breaks into the site ?
Police patrols on the Shiregreen :hihi: you have more chance of seeing a UFO..if its the same security company that patroled Hartley Brook School when the canteen was set on fire then the guards won't do anything to stop these kids...:suspect: one bloke was sacked for taking drugs while on the job..i won't name the company but its local ;)

Re-read the quote in the thread, nick.

Wouldn't you? especially as this type of employment carries minimum wage status.
Whose gonna risk a severe head or facial injury for minimum wage?
