I’ve had a ruby for breakfast before. It was great! I love curry. But brushing my teeth after wasn't pleasant! Ousetunes 24-05-2005, 09:21 Me too. Done it about three times (it sounds like a crime! It's only breakfast!). Woken up still sozzled from the night before (or the two hours sleep I've just managed) and gone to the fridge and been confronted with the mouth-watering sight of last night's curry (which I won't remember even going for) waiting for me on the shelf. The fat from the source will have slunk down the food to create a little ring of yellow liquid, a bit like a moat, around the pile of rice and (usually) lamb. The food definitely tastes stronger - lamb is lovely. The rice will be a bit rubbery and the fact that it will be eaten freezing cold just adds to the occasion. Then there's the garlic naan which takes some ripping up. Actually, it's a bit like cardboard so maybe I wouldn't eat too much of it. Then, fully-fed, still drunk, it'll be down for a hair-of-the-dog and no doubt another afternoon spent in the boozer. A bit like a night out, but in reverse. By the way, these occasions are well over ten years since now. Maybe it's time to reminisce?! rudedude1979 24-05-2005, 09:53 I love Cold curry for breakfast! I find cold pizza always tastes nicer in the morning as well! She was nearly sick last week as she came to give me a kiss as i'd just eaten my cuury breakfast (think i maight have transfered a bit of lamb, mouth to mouth!) she said i was disgusting and had never heard of anybody eating cold curry. Well i 'll tell her to look at this. At last proof i'm not totally weired! pussym 24-05-2005, 10:01 Me and my boyf always warm up our left over chinese form the previous night. Still a bit worried it was just an unidentifiable ’meat’ however. I think mot takeaways taste better in the morning, especially chicken kebabs. timo 25-05-2005, 15:19 I cannot conceive of eating madras and garlic naan for breakfast. However, I could, if required, consume a delicate, sweet-tasting Peshwari Naan with perhaps a little mint Raita as a dip at that time. That would be a refreshing beginning to the day. |
