Ok so I apologise for my seeming neglect on the poster front. Things have ben a little hectic this end due to the arrival of baby betz three weeks ago! :D

However we are now back on track and the new poster is now ready!

Thanks to all those who displayed a poster last time round and I hope you will be able to do the same again. There are also a few new names on the list but still room for many more! Just drop me an email or a PM if you think you could print off and display a poster for these needy dogs. Display it in your home / car/ at work/ local shops/ vets/ anywhere that will draw attention to the fact that there are dogs sitting in the pound that would dearly love a new home.

Dont worry if you dont have a printer as posters can be sent out to you - and will be this time for those who missed out last time!

Many many thanks again for all those supporting this poster appeal!

Thanks Sez - I am sure you have had more than your hands full, what do they always say - "Ask a busy person and they will usually manage to do it for you"?

Soz, thats why u are in there.

Anyway - thanks a lot.

Can you send the Rotherham one down to Tailends and ask if they would send that one around the vets in yorkshire/derbyshire/notts?

We do get a lot of interest from those

Any chance of updating the posters yet Sez?

We are bursting at the seams just at Rain Rescue and have far more dogs in our care than we normally have. So would appreciate some help of people posting information of the dogs on the Rotherham page for us please - looking for nice homes - to get some out of kennels.

I have Reggie, Tabby and Baxter in kennels at the moment - all very very bored.
Especially poor Reggie - he has been in for MONTHS and so loves human company.

He is really looking for an older guy who enjoys walking - and is used to terrier type dogs. He is a bit fiery - but not lethal - and a good walk would do him the world of good.

Anyone think of a nice person for him? Good home is FAR more important than any donation.

If you ever need any help with the poster, I'd be happy to. Just ask if you need me. Oh thats if it's produced on a mac, I can't work one of those PC things!

Jarvis - that would be great if you could produce a poster for our Rotherham Dogs.

They are the ones that we do have some history about and that are either in foster homes - or in boarding places. I have 3 in boarding - Reggie, Tabby and Baxter - who is still awaiting going on the site - the rest are in foster

so - get your design skills going gal - and we could do with these circulating around as many vets in the area as we can - any ideas anyone?

thanks Sezbets - don't beat yourself up - at least you are back - i know u will when u get sorted - its a pity someone else can't work with you with the sheffield dogs and ciruclating their poster and finding new places for the poster

anyone going to do a new years resoluation to help rehome some dogs - instead of sitting back letting others take the strain? come on - its an easy on this one

Yes I can save to pdf Strix. I won't be able to do anything until I'm back at work on the 5th Jan. Hope this is OK. Can you send me pics, text etc and I'll put something together. You can email me on the address in my signature. Also can you send me a pdf of one you have already done so i can get an idea on the sort of thing you've had before.

Oh also I'll need any logos etc that you want putting on, Rain Rescue etc.

I should be fairly quiet when I get back to work, so should be able to get something together pretty quickly if you get the stuff to me by then.

Thanks to sez for the new Sheffield poster

I would appreciate anyone thinking where they could put a poster up - local vets or pet shops? Anywhere they think that nice pet owners will be visiting.

Thanks Jarvis for starting up with the Rotherham one - we can email you a logo in the new year when you are ready and the dogs will be on our Rotherham page which need to go on. No doubt they will still be the same as now because nothing is moving at the moment anyway.

Thanks a lot - these posters help raise awareness of the plight of the dumped dog.
