Meet Pumpkin a dog left to await his fate in Sheffield Pound.
This dog is in such a state with very little fur, sores all over his body and so so scared he just sat there cowering in his kennel at the back with no name and no one to care about him.
I collected Pumpkin (as he was festively named) on Thursday and here are some pictures i took today

This dog is a smashing babe, he is absolutly no trouble and asks for nothing but gives you so much back.
This dog once well enough to be rehomed (although this may be a long job) will make someone a smashing dog.

Poor Pumpkin, he looks much happier in your home than he did in the pound, what a sad looking little lad
Things can only get better for him from here, lets hope that he soon finds his great new forever home :)

Just thought i would give you all an update on Pumpkin or Pumpkin Pie as i call him as he is sweet enough to eat.
He is doing brilliantly, he has adopted Dodger as his dad and what Dodger does Pumpkin follows, in fact he barked for the first time the other day because Dodger did. It was such a high pitched girlie bark he jumped back in fright and looked behind him to see where it had come from:P:hihi:
He is a real cuddly monster and is happy either cuddling up to us or if that is not an option he cuddles up to Dodge or Spot:)
He is slowly putting on weight and is due for that op on Thursday so healing thoughts for him.

Hes lovely. I was reading abut him earlier on the Rain Rescue website. Such a sad story, as many of them are. I'm glad he's in a nice foster home and not a kennel anymore. I hope he continues to get better and that his forever home is just round the corner.

he really is lovely, this story moved me to tears, i was saying to oh, more room, more room, we need a farm and an acre of land, we could take loads of dogs then, i'm sure he will do really well now, thats all that all these dogs need, just some love and tender care

Well i was very sad and happy at the same time as Pumpkin left me to begin his new life with his new family yesterday.
After a few calls i am assured he is settleing really well and is being a pleasure to have around. The family are lovely and sensible so im sure they will be fine
Im rubbish at this fostering lark i get so upset when they leave but happy at the same time knowing he will get the love and affection he deserves.
