Anyone know of a sheffield based aquatics store that does Zebra plecos? ive seen them for sale via online aquatic stores and classifieds but the thought of the royal mail van throwing my very expensive fish around kind of puts me off!

S & A Aquatic's? very nice blokes who run it, just off Abbeydale Road on that little ind estate....why not phone them order one then pick it up from them on day of delivery?
Don't know if they actually stock them but sure they'll pick one up from suppliers. Thet are very good for getting wierd and wonderful marine if asked and the same supplier in Manchester does trop's too.

Fish inc at Handsworth and Beighton aquatics have had them in before, I don't if they have any in in at the moment though.

We've just been out for a drive to Bamford and Derwent Koi and Tropicals have some in, they look really healthy too.
I'm not sure if they are closed Monday or Tuesday , I think it's Monday, but if you ring Kath on 01433 650029 she will tell you.
It's worth a drive out, she usually has some different stuff in and the cafe there is brilliant, they have also just opened a Christmas shop too. It's set inside High Peak Garden Centre. It's about half an hour drive from Hillsborough if you haven't been before.

No they used to do trop's but was thinking they would order one if needed:)
Look's like OP is sorted now though, if they have them at Bamford.

Been in this morning (Derwent Koi & Tropicals) they had 3 zebra plecs in. I buy most of my fish from there - never lost 1 :)
