No one listened to her as they were busy watching punch and Judy wobble! Yes Mrs Moffat was the Deputy in my time Daven, she was o.k. but she got passed over for the heads job for Mrs G. I hated her as she told me off for something that wasn't my fault and wouldn't let me answer, so much for democracy, she is all things evil about school that hopefully doesn't happen now. breeze 16-09-2009, 18:03 Moffat was worse, she stole my fags outta mi socks... lol MR BENN 16-09-2009, 18:08 yep -i was there from 81-86 anyone remember Mr frost and his eyebrows -we called him Tweek :hihi::hihi: or "Yogi" Bancroft Arthur Ritus 16-09-2009, 18:36 Tweak once gave me 10 out of 10 for my bowl, he gathered everybody around it was so embarasing. I think f1 cars have based their front spoilers on him this year. I couldn't remember his real name many thanks for that. Another one was summers the other henchman for her commandant he took us for music but unfortunately had strong jaz leanings. We also had a mad russian teaching us french cholig i think was his name. There was a science teacher "the irish one", i cannot remember his name he took us for hockey, must have been good at it cos after a couple of months we beet the girls and they had been playing it for eons. Taylor was another one - chemistry was his subject with him we made explosives, whisky and had a field trip to wards brewery getting drunk on two halves. Good old days just wish i had known at the time. Daven 21-09-2009, 11:16 Tweak once gave me 10 out of 10 for my bowl, he gathered everybody around it was so embarasing. I'm struggling now! MR BENN 22-09-2009, 01:11 Shaun Townsend was my PE teacher (along with Paul cousins) and i also had Mr Stott (but just trying to remember what subject he taught) other teachers while i was there from 81-86 were Mr Holmes ,Mr Wardle ,Mrs Wardle ,Mr Clotworthy , Mr Rutherforth, Mike Bancroft ,Mrs Varley (maths teacher) and the Gestapo High Command of Mrs Gledhill, Mr Summers Daven 24-04-2010, 19:40 Shaun Townsend was my PE teacher (along with Paul cousins) and i also had Mr Stott (but just trying to remember what subject he taught) other teachers while i was there from 81-86 were Mr Holmes ,Mr Wardle ,Mrs Wardle ,Mr Clotworthy , Mr Rutherforth, Mike Bancroft ,Mrs Varley (maths teacher) and the Gestapo High Command of Mrs Gledhill, Mr Summers .................................................. satman2222 25-04-2010, 08:56 Frank Rodgers (http://www.angelasmith-mp.org.uk/news_view.asp?id=82) was still going strong when I spoke to him on Tuesday. He's well into his 90's and still active. speeder 25-04-2010, 16:09 Shaun Townsend was my PE teacher (along with Paul cousins) and i also had Mr Stott (but just trying to remember what subject he taught) other teachers while i was there from 81-86 were Mr Holmes ,Mr Wardle ,Mrs Wardle ,Mr Clotworthy , Mr Rutherforth, Mike Bancroft ,Mrs Varley (maths teacher) and the Gestapo High Command of Mrs Gledhill, Mr Summers all those, we must have overlapped quite a lot, Mrs V was my form tutor for 4th and 5th years, once bumped into Wardle in the middle of a Welsh forest on the RAC Rally(should have been a school day), we both agreed we hadn't seen each other!!! Stott was English teacher along with Mike Richards. Steve Dent was our Economics teacher, right laugh. Saw Yogi early last year, still wearing the same brown suit!! verynaughty 15-07-2010, 09:38 Yeah I remember all the above teachers etc, left there in 1979.
