:help: Hi,

I wanted to put an avatar up, but I can't seem to do it. All my photo's are 'too big' and I don't know how to get JPG whatever webspace.

I've seen people's avatars of photos so I know that you can do it, can someone tell me how please?

I can't work out why my photo's are too big, and nobody else's are :suspect:

Thankyou!

Try a search Lotti. It gets asked often. there are hyperlinks to avatar re-sizing software there

Alternatively send your choice avatar to someone who will re-size it for you.

I'd be happy to do it seen as your a local to me :P

Hi Lotti

I have PM'd you or you can try www.gifworks.com and try resizing it yourself...click file open then upload the picture, resize and resave....

Oooh, while we're here, how do you change 'the registered user'? I've seen people with different status's instead. Just interested!

Thanks!

Once you hit 500 posts (or maybe it's 400?) you can email Geoff, and he will change it to something of your choice :)

EDIT - You beat me to it Strix :P

I find the best way to resize pics is to open paint in microsoft menu, open file and select your pic, once there go to image/ attributes then you can resize the pixels, play around with it and you'll find your way around it..
good luck
