Does anyone remember Silver Blades 1p nights. Where you got cards also clipped and when it was full you got free entry. Groups als appeared like Edison Lighthouse, White Plains in the mid 60's. Do you have any friends that you would like to contact from then. I have Harry Stocks,Jackie Murphy, Peter Briggs, Coreen Sunter, Susan Woildgoose, Kevin Hinchcliffe

Caught a sign that Coreen Sunter is still around in the Star on 23rd November. She was mentioned in a memorium to her late father Fred who died a year ago

I went to the Silver Blades two or three times a week when I was in my teens.
I remember Harry Stocks once skating up behind me, pushing his head through my legs and lifting me up onto his shoulders then skating across the rink and running into the gent's changing room and toilets and out again. When we came out every was laughing and clapping and I nearly died of embarrassment. After that, I was terrified to go anywhere near him.

Havn't seen either since late 60's. My wife remembers Harry Stocks got a scar over her eye with his antics
