I thought that I would share my new Baby Girl with everyone ( the very last one for many many years )

I have named her Abbey after my most loved little friend at C.A.T.S but am unsure as I think every animal should have its very own name, I also like Daisy and Buffy, Daddy Dave likes Kitty, so suggestions for lovely names welcome :D

A big thanks to my special friend Olliekitten who brought this little girly to me

She is a little toughie too, she holds her own with everyone here and that is no mean feat :hihi:
She is special friends with Poppy cat who just loves kittens, and tonight she has been playing with Oliver.
She is a proper Ganet and loves her chicken and fish she should grow massive at this rate :D
I like Maisey too :)

Are we destined for another Maisie Mew then? One of my kittens went to be called Maisie Mew.

I think she looks like a Henna (as in the dye to make red tones in your hair). She's utterly gorgeous.

Wow what a lovely little kitten :)

How about Cerys - apparently it means "love" or "darling"....but (wait for it)....the lead singer of Catatonia is.....Cerys Matthews....so really quite a clever name isn't it.

Ok....I'll get mi coat!:loopy:

She actually looks a little like my old cat Blaze, I never really looked into what kind of cat Blaze was but apparently she was a Tortoiseshell http://www.seregiontica.org/Colors/tortietorbie/tortietorbie.htm

Enjoy your kitten...she looks gorgeous - Tilly sends purrs and hugs too....she's doing great - her pictures are in my signature now :)

She is cute  and currently busy spinning on my knee and alternately killing the keyboard :hihi:

Aww fancy not knowing that your cat was tortie Mick, I think that tortie is a really gorgeous colour and I had no idea that there were so many variations, the phrase "torti-tude" is frankly slightly worrying though :hihi:

I never looked it up the colour thingy.....I was far too busy removing the selection of varied wildlife Blaze brought me back on a daily basis - the mice, birds and other critters have had a year without fear (oooh that rhymed :D )

Now the new "kit" on the block "A-Tilly-The-Hun" is brushing her hunting skills up...she's brought me a slug, a twig and loads of leaves.....the mice will be next :hihi:

Oh God the neighbours up the Rd will kill me, they hate my cats catching birds...although I usually manage to retrieve them in time, I took loads to be brought on by the vet this year, one particular day I took one lot in the morning then another batch at night then a steady trickle till the end of fledging
My lot are also great mousers and ratters too, neighbours never complain about that though :suspect:

Lotti please take that total menace remark back immediately you are jinxing me :hihi:

I've got one at the moment- you can do anything with her and she doesn't threaten to shred you even a little bit.

She is delightful and I'm thinking some sort of dessert might be in order for her name as she's such a gorgeous chocolate colour but can only think ganache, torte, praline, brulee, fudge, cinder, toffee and tiramisu.

I quite like Fudge or Cinder or Toffee.:)

I can normally rely on her to be the most well behaved cat in the house but today she's been a little SOD. Swap?

Oh this ones a little sod too :suspect: and seems to manage not only getting poo on her feet but somehow flicks it onto her back, so that some unsuspecting person (as in ME) gives her a lovely stroke and a kiss then realises the absolute error of this approach without sniffing first :(

She still does not have a proper name by the way but I am erring on the side of Daisy, as my other girlie cats are Rosie and Poppy :D

Daisy! Two of my foster bubs are called Poppy and Daisy! It's a lovely name:)

Poo on the feet is a particularly hilarious trick isn't it?

Yes a laugh a minute, yesterday I had just put a clean top on too and on my way out

We have different names for kitten stages of development here, the young stage is called poo foot, the middling one is prickle paws, then older cats are at the cost a bomb stage :D...especially Oliver who is sooo destructive and loves to break things, he is so exceptionally naughty I am sure that he is part oriental he is so slim and elegant for a tom pure white with a really pointy face.
