MagnetMan   10 #1 Posted October 30, 2008 Hey everyone,  I'm going to see the new James bond film at the odeon Tomorrow (Friday, 31st) at 8:00PM (sorry for late notice), and maybe some drinks after to "discuss" the film.  If anyone would like to join us and see how Good old Blighty can save the world again from the Russians and Terrorists, you are more than welcome  (you might need to book tickets first)  If you would like to join us or going to be there anyway and like to meet for a drink after let me know (pm me or add to this list etc)  Julian
 Share this content via...

Edible   10 #4 Posted October 31, 2008 I just hope they don't bring back the 'rope and bottomless chair' scene. I still flinch now at the image.  Would love to go but like wise engaged in hallowe'n activities.
 Share this content via...
darinkaj   10 #5 Posted October 31, 2008 My oppinion is that Casino Royal was the best. This last one - Quantum of Solace miss the story. I've expected get to know the solution of prewious part. Yes there are some good made scenes (especially that one on the plane) but the rest is only ballast. The possitive was that at beginning they were using Alfa-Romeo cars, which is my favourite mark of car; but finally Aston won.  Daniel seems to be very tired and fed up and the rest of actors as well.  I was really disappointed of this film.  Maybe you have different oppinion.  Darina
 Share this content via...
MagnetMan   10 #6 Posted November 1, 2008 The problem I have is if you ask me "so whats this one about" i can't tell you ... its got running, guns, cars, bikes, planes (no trains) 2 x sexy bond women, but what it is lacking is a story.  No Bond gadget this time is unbelievable (eg. invisible car hummm!) but infact NO gadgets at all (appart from a really cool touch screen table... i want one!!) The story is a mess! There is lots of running and chasing, mainly to the next action sequence which are all good but whats the point ... a really strange political statement scene relating to where MI5 need to get the right intellegence before the PM can do anything (weapons of mass destruction anyone)  I'm still not sure about Craig being bond now, last film was good, but this has well.. its going the way of the Timothy Dalton scripts eeek!! iansamuel   10 #7 Posted November 2, 2008 Have to agree, an extra few minutes here and there to explain the plot would have made it really good.  And did he actually get it on with the Camille chick?
 Share this content via...
