Anyone know anywhere? LexRigby 30-10-2008, 08:30 If it's still under warranty take it back to the Apple store at Meadowhall... they're always a great help. Maybe they could help even if it's out of warranty. If it's totally dead you can trade it in to get 10% off a new one. Alternatively UK iPod Repairs (http://www.ukipodrepairs.com/) is pretty good, I had a new screen from there before. cv65user 30-10-2008, 10:06 you mean the headphones no sound at all ? - i can loook for u Twoflags 30-10-2008, 23:54 If it's still under warranty take it back to the Apple store at Meadowhall... they're always a great help. Twoflags 30-10-2008, 23:55 you mean the headphones no sound at all ? - i can loook for u there's no sound from the head phones and it doesn't transmit sounds through my I Trip radion transmitter. Apart from that it works perfectly. cv65user 31-10-2008, 07:01 so no sound from the top 3.5 jack and the bottom port where the itrip connects presumably ? em2007 31-10-2008, 07:11 have you tried resetting it first? Vrsaljko 31-10-2008, 07:55 As said above, hold down the centre button and 'menu' at the same time to reset it. qazitory 31-10-2008, 11:45 http://www.ukipodrepairs.com/ I've sent mine off there before. It's somewhere in Brighton, but it was back with me working within 2 days!!! charlie1 31-10-2008, 17:54 Thanks for info on resetting ipod, i thought mine was broke, have just reset it and now it works again!:) Twoflags 31-10-2008, 23:55 yeah have just tried the reset and it doesn't sort it, have also restored and updated it. Rich 24-12-2011, 20:00 I've just bought a "faulty" Ipod on eBay the other day, my own fault as I didn't read the description properly :loopy:, where can I get it repaired cheaply? It's a 1st Edition 16 Gig Ipod. Leah-Lacie 24-12-2011, 20:12 Is it an iPod Touch Rich? Most mobile phone or computer repair shops do them now :) Rich 24-12-2011, 21:47 Is it an iPod Touch Rich? Most mobile phone or computer repair shops do them now :) Yes, it's a 1st Gen Ipod Touch, not likely to be an expensive repair is it? Leah-Lacie 24-12-2011, 21:51 Depends whats up, but generally, no :) cv65user 25-12-2011, 12:33 fyi i do ipod battery replacements if they arent holding the full charge as they use to . £30 |
