i love hollyoaks and think it doesnt get the recognition it deserves. it deals with hard hitting subjects such as drug addiction.domestic violence and anorexia.Does anybody else agree its superior to the likes of emmerdale and eastenders and corrie?

Yeah it is good. Although their dealing with 'hard subjects' is laughable. I rmeember when justin was smoking pot it was straight out of a text book.
Wooden actor: "justin why are you smoking that stuff, it is really bad and just makes you sleep and eat all day"

I think there's a disproportionate amount of "gorgeous" young things in it. Appealing to lads of a certain age, perhaps (well, ALL ages, probably!). But I'd prefer it to be a bit more realistic and have some butt ugly munters like myself in there.

Its the only one I watch.

its a very good soap..
im always intrigued.

however, hollyoaks is written
for young people
such as myself,
whereas emmerdale, soaps like that
are for the older generation.

I watch it.
I don't listen to it.

we stopped watching it when the discovered the could make a mold to drop all the female actors out of and it started getting too confusing :P

... and the bloke who did the driving lessons started acting like it was supposed to be comedy, and every second actor died, and everybody at one time or another lived in the pub, and then the plots started repeating, and Tony got even more annoying than he was in the first place...

Me two I've been watching since him and OB were just spotty little kids and good old mr C was around then the following gary lucy (luke?) getting raped over the car. Gave my 8 year old self night mares!
